Artist’s Bio

Aidan Frenette is a multidisciplinary artist from Niagara Falls, Ontario. Frenette’s practice consults, magnifies, and responds to the intricacies of the individual human experience within the cyclical yet ephemeral passage of time. Frenette is a passionate liaison between the respective absurdities of the private world and surface level interactions. Frenette’s work exists at the intersective merger between the “intra-” and “inter-” personal, and is underscored by an appreciation for simplicity and sentimentality.

Frenette is an experienced and dedicated arts programming coordinator in the non-profit sector, a ceramics instructor, and life drawing facilitator. The importance of “administration with heart” is of fundamental importance to Aidan’s personal artistic practice, arts programming, and instruction.
